This Privacy Policy applies to the Slides Generator service (the "Service") available from the Google Workspace Marketplace and from https://slidesgenerator.app and describes the collection, usage, processing of your personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any information that is not personally identifiable, like aggregated or anonymous information.

Google Workspace Marketplace Add-On Authorization

The Service can be installed as an add-on from the Google Workspace Marketplace. If you do so, the Service will be available from Google Docs™️ and Google Slides™️. When installing the Service from the Google Workspace Marketplace, you will be prompted to authorize the following permissions to your Google account which will only be used to perform the service you are requesting from the add-on you have installed:

1. See your primary Google Account email address, first and last names and profile image, to identify you as a user of the Service for the purpose of fetching and updating free tier app usage and subscription status, contacting you with important communications and establishing an online account with us.
2. View and manage Google Docs™️ that this application has been installed in. The Service reads the content and formatting in your Google Docs™️ documents to Google Docs to Google Slides™️ or HTML presentations.
3. See, edit, create, and delete all your Google Slides™️ presentations. The Service does not edit or delete any of your Google Slides™️ presentations. It only reads your Google Slides™️ presentations or creates them.
4. Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars inside Google applications. The Service displays input fields and styling scripts for the purposes of collecting the information needed to generate your Google Slides™️ or HTML presentations.
5. Connect to an external service. This is to fetch and update your free tier app usage or subscription status.

To remove the Service's access to your Google account, you must uninstall the add-on from the Google Workspace Marketplace. The Service is created and powered by Google Apps Script, on Google servers.

Adherence to Google API Services User Data Policy

The Service's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Personal information we collect:

• Contact data, originating from your Google account including your primary Google account email address, first and last names and profile image, to identify you as a user of the Service for the purpose of fetching and updating free tier app usage and subscription status, contacting you with important communications and establishing an online account with us.
• Communications that we exchange with you when you contact us for support, questions or feedback, through the Service, social media, or otherwise, including your email and name.
• Transactional data, including the number of times you have run the Service (to track free tier usage), subscription information including Stripe user and subscription payment identifiers. If you choose to subscribe for the paid tier of the Service, you will be required to provide your primary Google Account email address and payment data to Stripe in order to update your subscription status and allow access to the paid tier of the Service. Stripe may use your payment data in accordance with its privacy policy.
• Marketing data, such as your preferences for receiving our marketing communications and details about your engagement with them.
• Document data, including contents of Google Docs™️ or Google Slides™️ documents. This includes but is not limited to titles, text, tables, images and content that you choose to create, generate, transmit or otherwise make available to the Service.

Data Use

We may use your personal information for the following purposes or as otherwise described at the time of collection:

We may use your personal information to:

• Provide, operate and improve the Service and our business;
• Establish and maintain your user profile on the Service;
• Communicate with you about the Service, including by sending announcements, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages;
• Understand your needs and interests, and personalize your experience with the Service and our communications; and
• Provide support for the Service, and respond to your requests, questions and feedback.
• Research and development. We may use your personal information for research and development purposes, including to analyze and improve the Service and our business.

As part of these activities, we may create aggregated, de-identified or other anonymous data from personal information we collect. We make personal information into anonymous data by removing information that makes the data personally identifiable to you. We may use this anonymous data and share it with third parties for our lawful business purposes, including to analyze and improve the Service and promote our business.

Marketing

We and our service providers may collect and use your personal information for marketing purposes.

We may send you direct marketing communications as permitted by law. You may opt-out of our marketing communications as described in the Opt-out of marketing section below.

Compliance with law

We may use your personal information to:

Data Storage

We only store data which is absolutely needed to provide our users the service offered by the Service. When we need to store data outside of your Google account, we store it on Digital Ocean servers in the United States maintained by Automative Apps.

Data Retention

We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service and to meet regulatory or contractual requirements. Once data is no longer needed, it is securely disposed of or archived.

At any time of your choosing, you will also be able to perform the following actions from within the Service itself by logging into your account to remove your personal information:

• Close your online account on Slides Generator, in which case your account will be deleted together with all personal and document data associated with your account.
• Delete any document data stored on our servers by deleting presentations created on the Service.

Data Security

The security of your personal information is important to us. Automative Apps takes reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, taking into account the risks involved in the processing and the nature of the personal data.

The following data we collect is stored in encrypted form using non-deterministic encryption methods

• Document data
• Passwords for password-protected presentations
• Your profile name
• Your profile image link

The following data we collect is stored in encrypted form using deterministic encryption methods:

• Your profile email address

However, no application, Internet, or email transmission is ever fully secure or error-free, and we do not guarantee the security of any personal information. You are also responsible for ensuring that your account and the passwords we provide you are protected.

Payment Processing

All subscription payments are processed through Stripe payment processing systems. Credit card details are neither stored nor accessible to the Service or Automative Apps. The Stripe Privacy Policy is accessible from https://stripe.com/privacy.

Cookies and similar technologies

'Cookies' are small data files stored locally on your computer or mobile device by a website. The Service may use both session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser or mobile application) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer or mobile device until you delete them manually) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience.

This Privacy Policy is subject to occasional revision, and we reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy relating to the Service at any time, effective upon posting of an updated version of this Privacy Policy.
